The first is a Shakespeare rod from the 1980s. It has blue stripes and a single metal ferrule. It’s 5’2” in two parts.The text on the side that would give me the action, line weight, lure weight, etc. has all worn off.
The second is 4’6” and the area where the manufacturer would have been has disintegrated. It has a cork handle and is well built, with the exception of the area just forward of the reel seat, which seems to have dry-rotted. But there’s no other identifying information on it. I got this one at a thrift store, so I have no idea where it might have been sold originally.
