Look at side of rod. You should find specs. Adjust drag and lures accordingly.
The line weights listed on the rods and reels respectively correspond to the appropriate size monofilament line you should use with them.
The rods will list a range of lure weights they’re rated for as well.
You did not specify what you’re fishing for or where, making your question on types of baits and lures so general as to be absurd.
You can look up online the specs for your rod and reel, you should check them separately. For the reel, it’ll show you the both the mono/fluoro and Pe/Braid line size and length you can spool in the reel. Then you should also just compare with the spec of your rod.
I would suggest you stick with the suggested size range recommended. Now, smaller line is farther casting, but less strength, you should match it with what species of fish you will be targeting.
Is there a certain species you are targeting or just throwing a worm and bobber in? If you paln to use mono I would go 6 pound on the smalller rod and 12 on the bigger one. You could also use braid which I would suggest 20 pound on the small and 30 or 40 on the bigger one.
