I noticed about 2 weeks ago that whenever he flares only his left beard comes out. I thought he was just being weird but I think his right gill appears a bit swollen? I took him out for a salt bath (2nd pic, there's some specks because my fricking succulent fell and some dirt got in) His right gill/operculum definitely seems to be protruding out a bit? And there's what looks to be the start of pineconing?? But when I look at him from other angles it doesn't seem like pinecone. So now I'm wondering if I'm just too paranoid 😭 I'm planning on giving him aquarium salt baths to help with his gills. But if it's dropsy also then I'm devastated 🫠

Forgot to mention but he’s still active, swimming, and eating as normal. But he doesn’t flare as much anymore. He used to flare at my finger but now he just kinda stares and backs away. He’s a little bloated, but I’m wondering if he ate sth in the tank (detritus worms, nipping the bladder snails?)
