Maybe it was the THC seltzer last night, or the lack of coffee this morning, but it took me a good 2 minutes to figure out your fish is not sleeping upside-down in his little hammock🤦🏼♀️

Yesss he’s so adorable! Mine sleeps by the heater every night. In the morning, he swims to the front of the tank and it looks like he’s greeting me lol (even though I know he’s hungry)

It seems during the day when the lights are on he rests on my big anubias, but last night I got up and turned on the room light and I found him sleeping on the bottom of the tank lol

my two sleep on their little betta beds, and my husband’s sleeps in the sand lol (he also has two beds, he just yearns for the dirt)

This is the only thing in there that’s not natural decor, but it’s his favorite sleepy place 🙂
