They look amazing in the water during a slow retrieval but are no where near heavy enough to bring in at a moderate speed it will just surface

I throw both the 7 and the 5. Almost nothing on the 7, but the 5 works great.

  3. Caught some on the Cull Shad last summer but never tried that one.Not a fan of big baits.

  4. Caught a few on this. I love the Nessie glides, the action is great for the price and you can do either a fast or slow retrieval. Keep your rod tip low and it won’t come out of the water.

  5. ive had some follows on the 5 but seems like they are more interested in watching it than eating it.

They’re too light, I don’t know what they were thinking making it too light. I use nail weights in mine and they sink a little better but they’re definitely still a really, really slow retrieve if you want it to walk at all, or just do a few quick chops before you let it sink every 3-5 seconds. More of a finesse glide. It’s also worth noting that it’s difficult to find a good spot for the nail weight. I’ve caught a few on the 5 inch, and none on the 7. They cast like shit. They like fold in half and fly like a maple seed lol and it really slows them down, and it happens at random times so you can’t perfectly tune a baitcaster to stop backlash at the right time. Best on spinning gear for that reason. Also, the plastic gets bent out of shape once stored outside their original packaging. You can reshape them using hot water, stretching back to shape, and holding it to shape while submerging back in cold water. One more thing, the single treble hook was a bad call in my opinion, I’ve missed a lot of fish on these. The berkley chop block is very similar to this but apparently sinks a little faster, has a taller side profile, and has two sets of hooks.
