About 36hrs ago my plakat betta ate a Fluval Cichlid Bug Bite and immediately reacted with distress. I had thought that because all my other fish are fine with them he would be too but I think the bites are too big and rough edged.
Since then he’s been really lethargic and spends his entire time resting either on the bottom of the tank or in his betta basket. He can make it to the top for air but seems laboured & immediately returns to rest.
I’ve been fasting him (though there’s bacterial goop in the tank he may have snacked on), temp is at 26°C and I’m keeping the lights off. The only things I added were a few drops of esha Optima and a dose of API Stress Coat.
Is there anything else I can do to help him?

Looks like he’s got swim bladder issues. Fasting is the right course if it was caused by the too big food!
poor betta.
