Aquariums: My first tank

Hi guys just wanted to post my tank here for a little show and tell. Always open for improvement. 🙂 I had a beta when I was a kid but I don’t count that because it was really my parents who picked it out and did maintenance and also it was so long ago lol I don’t really remember much.

Tank has been fully cycled for many many months now and all the fish appear to be thriving. Ofc they have a filter and heater! Tank temp is stable and I have a master test kit OBVI I’m not slacking over here 😀

It’s 190l and I got quite the selection- 3 pearl gouramis (1 boy 2 girls) 2 cichlids (boy/girl) 13 tetras 8 amanos, 5 ottos (lost one a while back 🪦) 8 cardinal fish (Germany- gold white mountain minnow USA) 1 desert goby (my fave. His name is HANS!) 1 female koi beta who is very friendly 🙂 2 platies (girl/boy) and 2 guppies (used to be 4 but the 2 rainbow color ones didn’t make it. They just… wasted. I read there’s a lot of guppy incest :/

Have to say I don’t like the partial sand thing- also didn’t think it was white when I bought it lol thought it would blend more and end up tan . But I wanted my goby to be happy so I added it! I’m thinking of going all sand later with more neutral color, but I love the clay substrate for the plants… Was also thinking of doing grass somewhere. IDK what do you guys think? Also want to add plants on top so that my boy pearl gourami can build a bubble nest!
