I've tried googling and image searching, but mostly snow flakes pop up.

  1. Looks like some kind of fungus, my tanks sometimes get it on the substrate, it goes away with time but im sure you could just scrub it off. I’m pretty sure its harmless, Iv never had any problems with it

  2. That’s just biofilm/bacterial colonies forming on the glass. The little “snowflake/star” patterns are how they grow outward. Pretty common in newer or nutrient-rich tanks.
    Nothing harmful—just part of the tank maturing. You can wipe it off if it bugs you, but it’ll usually fade on its own as things stabilize

  3. Ive had this happen in all my tanks when they are newly setup and starting to cycle. Never had any problems as it just goes away after a bit
