I caught this bass today he/she was okish 1.15 pounds but it had a weird look to it. I’m not sure if it’s a spot, largey, rock bass or really what. I know it’s not a smally because I don’t have those in my lake atleast I think. Idk cool fish to say the least.

How big was it. Looks kinda like what we call red eye bass.

Spotted bass based on the small mouth and broken lateral stripe towards the tail. It’s solid on largemouths.

Sounds awesome. Great weather now too. I had just read an article a few months ago about red eye bass in Georgia or South Carolina that they have decided is a new type of bass. I’ll see if I can find it and link it to you.
