i saw a little guy at the pet store with VERY buldging eyes, on both sides. i have a little recovery tank already ready and i've saved 5 bettas with fin rot/clamped fins and all i just never had any fish have popeye. do tannins and salt baths help out with that? if i have everything i need to help him i'l go get him!
all my bettas are in 5g+ and thriving. they dont stay in recovery for more than needed!

Itâs usually an indicator of poor water quality (especially in both eyes) so giving the guy nice clean water and Catappa leaves should help immensely.
You could do Epsom salt baths for a day or two, but really just improving the water quality alone should clear it up
