Thats a HUGE leech also looks like its carrying babies. Careful upon removal as they tend to like to drop all their babies if scared.

I think that leech sucked up the whole snail in one go.

I’ve had success with planaria traps and tweezer removal for snail leeches. They like to hang out under rocks/decor and I’ve gotten most of them that way. Sometimes they’ll drop babies so I usually position a net under them while I rip them off (they’re strong asf)
Unless you nuke the tank, it’s a slow process, but IME they haven’t impacted my shrimp population.
