So I have a 240 liter (64 gallon) aquarium, its been running for 6 months and is well planted, the current stocking is:
– 2 Apistogramma agassizii orange (both female)
– 3 Honeygourami (all female)
– 10 Cardinaltetras
– 12 Endlers (all male)
– 6 Dwarf Chain Loaches
– 4 Ottocinclus
And some Amono shrimp and snails.
Can I add 10-15 Ember tetras? what do you guys think?

No, i was looking to get some ember tetras but ended up getting 8 long fin serpae tetras. They are so much cooler in my opinion. I have yet to see a cooler tetra. But again thats only my opinion
I always check with aqa advisor first. I think you’re probably fine to add them but I’m not familiar with all of those fish
Wonât apistogrammas bully embers or attempt to eat them? All the other neighbours seem chill and safe!
Ngl i’d recommend sizing up the cardinal group first. There really is a difference in behaviour, comfort and color in a well sized group (14, 16+) in my experience
The Embers might get bullied, they are smaller and quite subdued in behaviour. They also prefer calm waters, but if you have Honeys, thats probably already the case
yes
Iâm with the other commenters telling you you should up some of the schools just for more comfort! Not that they are stressed.
