This is my old gal Babs, she has been really struggling for the past month now, the water is at 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 0 nitrates since the tank is pretty planted I added the stems so she could rest when she went to the top recently. She hasn’t eaten in ages, I got her new special hikari vibra bites to see if the movement would entice her, she’s also refusing bug bites, daphnia, and bloodworms. She’s been at the bottom mostly for the past week but today looks like this, is there anything else I can do for her? She was full grown and very colored up when I got her from a high stress situation a little over a year ago, the tank is a planted 20 long with some snails, sawbwa resplendens, and Cory roommates.

I’d say just keep the lights dim try maybe fasting a day or 2 and just hope for the best. This is the hard part about fish keeping sometimes the fish just give out no matter how much work and care you give them. I wish you luck.
