I don’t think it’s one of these, but I just watched a short this morning where he was using a Stradic 6000FI to catch king salmon.

From an AMA he did ages ago he states he prefers Shimano generally. That being said your first picture looks very much like one of my older Shimano Saragossas (sp?)
