A friend of mine sold me his brand new, never used Sage TCX 8wt Switch rod. Shopping around for reels for it and I think I’ve landed on a few choices but looking for feedback.

Loop Evotech G5 or Loop Opti Strike – both reasonably priced, seem like quality reels and the G5 in particular seems to be a great fit.

Fly Project, Project OC 2 – A smaller company out of Montana, seems like quality reel for the price (on sale too).

Sage Spey 2 – The top end of my budget, and the guilty choice I’m leaning towards for what seems to be a very high quality reel and aesthetically impressive of the three.
Anyone have a suggestions or feedback?
