Found a free aquarium at the dumpster. Already checked for leaking and it’s fine but has a chip right here. Should this be put back in the dumpster?

I wouldn’t worry as long as the chip is not deep enough to reach the glue.

if it’s not leaking it should be fine but you could always fill it with some clear calk to reinforce it

My only concern is that any time there is a crack in glass, there are dozens of micro-cracks originating from the original. While imperceptible to the naked eye, and perhaps no source of current leakage, all it takes is one accidental nudge while youre going about your day and the entire tank shatters
