Got a free 55 gallon set up and the pleco came with it. This guy has got to be 10-12 inches long. The owner says he is at least 15 years old. He also has claimed to never once did a water change. Only top offs. 55 gallon is obviously too small and I only have a 90 gallon with juvenile cichlids. No way he is going in there ! I called my LFS and they're willing to take him for store credit.
I bet he's enjoying fresh water even though it's a small tub
Can anyone ID this guy ? Is he just a common?

Wow they’re beautiful. It’s a shame you don’t have the tank space, I hope they find a good home.
