I was looking for a cheap baitcaster combo for bass and snakehead and I found this reel for $35 and a berkley cherrywood for $30. I’ve yet to take this reel on the water but right off the bat this reel is amazing. It’s got 10 brakes to adjust from and in the video I have it on 2 brakes and barely thumbing the spool with a light cast and it casted pretty dang far with no backlash at all. The max drag is 17 pounds which is awesome for heavy cover. Nothing feels bulky or clanky, low profile, light, and fits perfect in the hand. I like the rubber grips on this rather than the foam ones. Only noticeable thing is the drag star has a little back to back play but really doesn’t impact anything and it might even be normal. I don’t know how this reel
Will hold up but for $35 on amazon it’s a must buy!

The tension knob has a clicking system, which my Shimano reels didn’t have. It’s a small feature but it helps with adjustment!
