Found a new OT PDL 120 at a local shop for $1400 and from what I see online that seems like a great deal. I have a Tacoma with a 6ft bed and I’m worried it might not fit. Should i pick it up?

  1. Have you seen the kayak in person? The price sounds way too good to be true for a brand new one but if it actually exists i wouldn’t hesitate to jump on it.

The kayak will work in the bed with the tailgate down. Just strap it in nice and tight.

With your tailgate down, you get an extra 2’. I haul my 12’ canoe in my 6’ bed without any issues

Go see it, tailgate down you should be fine but you can always get an extender too

Enjoy your new yak. Tailgate down to get it home ASAP but you should get an extender.

I need to drive about an hour highway and city to get to the water and hate how pepole dive near me, so I bought a bed rack to carry it on top. It also let’s me use my bed for gear.

If it’s anything like mine it could be a demo unit that will not come with a warranty. I got my 132 PDL for around 1800 in 2021 and that was the case.

I carry my PA 14 360 in my 5 ft bed Tacoma, tailgate down with a 4 ft bed extender and no issues so far for me!
