Sounds like OP had an altercation with a bank fisherman (according to his story on his initial post in a different sub.)
So Iām assuming OP either cut across the dudes line, fucked over his spot, or came in close crowding the bank guy out causing the altercation. None of the scenarios call for slashing trailer tires and keying the absolute fuck out of the truck but people donāt just destroy your shit because you looked at them funny.

Invest in a good quality dashcam with front and back cameras and an SD card with enough memory to record as much time as it can or depending how long you stay in the water.
I don’t think what happened to you is preventable but you can increase the chances to catch the people who’d do something to your property and possibly have them pay you. Some people are shitty and you happened to park your truck where a shitty person happened to be.
