My tank is mostly natural except some decorations. One of them is a small spongebob house, which i only have because it brings back memories :). My dad had the same exact pineapple in his fish tank when I was growing up. This was the early 2000’s so fish keeping was not like it was today. I have always seen people online hating on the pineapple, even referring to it as the “pineapple of death”. I was wondering if any other fish keepers have a spongebob house in their tanks?

Definitely, many people have it. I believe the camps are divided now. One being that the old manufacturers used harmful substances and paint and other being that new pineapples are still dangerous. As long as it doesn’t hurt fish, I’d say that the myth is debunked.
I really had to look for it. It looks much smaller than the usual ones, does it have any openings?
I only had to remove mine caz I have a weird fish that wanted to be inside it despite being way to big he got stuck multiple times before I went yea this is not safe for you
I don’t have a tank right now, but as soon as I do, I will have a small ceramic skull in it. It was the first thing my dad and I bought for my first aquarium when I was a kid. Its been in every aquarium I’ve owned.
