From stalking your profile, your tank look cool. Even cooler is I learn something from that pic.
When I see your tank pic I saw water pennyworth and I thought that not aquatic but marsh plant.
In comment you said they gave baby pennyworth. But pothos also gave new sprout submerged while slowly died in almost a year.
( TLDR : Pennyworth is semi aquatic plant that can survive submerged indefinitely. Now go read other reddit comment)
Still I do some digging and learn that pennyworth (water pennyworth and asiatica pennyworth) can be keep underwater indefinitely. Thought they might melt their old leave before regrow new one that adapt to water. So be aware not to put too much in one go.
My parents (which just a minute walk away) grow both pennyworth for Malaysian salad so I will grab some for my tank. But not today, today I’m too lazy.
