Today I read some posts about replacing the treble hooks that come on a lure with single hooks to make it easier on the fish and yourself to remove them. My question is should the single hooks face toward the head or tail end of the lure. I just got the one in the picture with a Daiwa reel. Thank you!

You should place it in face to easier catch.
