just got my fishing kit today, is this hair rig tied correctly? or is the hair too short, am planning to put two pieces of corn and use a sliding sinker.
btw i tied like 6 of these so i really hope i didn't mess it up đ

It will work.
Personally I prefer braid for a hair rig, it allows the bait to act more natural in the water.
And I would only use an out turned eye hook on popped up baits
but this is personally choice from 30 years of trail and error..

I’d like to see a more flexible hair material, so the bait can swing and aid in the initial hookset. You’d either have to join the hair material to the leader line, or tie the hair and leader to the hook separately. I usually use braid for the leader through the hair. You want the bait to be right at or just beyond the bend of the hook.
Edit: a hair rig is more appropriate to a fixed or semi fixed sinker rig.
