I just got a Quest Outlands 100 kayak as my first ever kayak yesterday! I took it out on the water to do a little test even though it was cold.
Balance was a bit of an issue but overall I already feel hooked.
What are some things I should know when diving into this, or maybe things about this kayak specifically? Any advice/tips to have a successful kayak fishing career?

don’t sleep on fishing around the put in, can’t tell you how many times i’ve kayaked 2+ miles to a spot just to catch the good one at the put in
