Fiancee and I went to a nearby pond this evening to fish for catfish. Pond is loaded with cats and crappie, and a few bass. We took a few catfish rods and then brought our crappie rigs to pass the time while waiting for a catfish bite.
Sure wasn’t expecting this thing to hit. Caught on a white/chartreuse Crappie Magnet on a 1/16oz underspin jighead. KastKing Royale Legend II 1000 size reel, KastKing Crixus rod 6’ L action, 8lb braid to 4lb mono leader.
Scale was going back and forth between 6.1 and 6.4.
