I fished a lot as a kid then lost interest. Starting fishing again last week with a spinning combo at my girlfriend’s house. I want to get my own rod and reel. Torn between spinning and bait caster. I guess I want a do it all but what would be best for me? I’ll consider my self a beginner. What length and action is best? I fish more canals and lakes and sometimes I’ll fish under bridges. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced

get a spinning rod and be able to throw just about anything small to pretty big and when you wanna branch out to heavier stuff then get a baitcaster, this is what i would do not professional advice😂
Peacock bass are so cool! Thats definitely one of my bucket list fish.
