I went ultra high end and bought a St Croix Legend X2 to put my 3K Exist on. Went with the 6’10” medium extra fast. Insanely tough rod and insanely sensitive. I have very big hands and the grip is comfortable for me.
This rod covers so many bases for me as I fish primarily finesse on bigger clear water for smallmouth.
