I’m purchasing black background adhesive for my 10 gallon betta tank. I’m deciding if I want to just do the back or the sides as well. Those of you with backgrounds can you show pics/help me decide?
My betta has a beautiful shimmery blue color but it doesn’t pop with the glass being exposed in the back.

You can also paint the back of the tank with black acrylic paint. That’s what i did with my old 40 gallon with my electric blue acara.

And then this is Jekyll and Hyde’s, the second one I ordered was defective so waiting on theirs to arrive! But totally different.
I think black looks best for aquascapes, but I’ve never seen it with something cool like a marble pattern, experiment!
