Second trip to the smokies went off well! Hiked close to 6 miles up and caught 8 brookies. Had a nutritious lunch mid day. Overall went great!

You know youāre not supposed to feed the fish Chef Boyardee, once they get a taste for human food they become a danger to people.

I assume you meant 6 miles round trip? Im not sure there’s 6 miles of fishable water up the main stream from that trailhead. Nonetheless, it’s a fine brook trout stream.
