I’m planning to do a float trip with my father along the way West Branch of the Delaware from the Balls Eddy access to Shehawken. I’ve never been there and I am wondering if any of you know what the water conditions are like. We have a 1448 Jon boat that we’ve only ever taken out on lakes and we just have it set up with a trolling motor (most the water around us is electric only).
I’ve heard that stretch is pretty calm water but I’ve never been there.
Would this flat bottom boat be ok in the 4 mile stretch?
