I’m new-ish to rod n’ reel fishing and learning how to rig my own gear. Just got my first baitcaster and decided to spool it myself with 50lb braid. Does this look too underspooled? If so, will it affect casting?

Its looks fine but what’s with the tag end? 50lb is excessive though. What does the reel say? That looks more like it should be 120 yards of 20lb braid.
