I just got my beautiful boy on Saturday and I’m trying to get him used to coming to my finger to eat but he will just watch me drop the food and leave it. The pellets just sink to the bottom of the tank and he will munch on a few of them later but leaves most of them to rot. I just tried giving him fluval freeze dried meal worms and he seemed much more interested in that but he still hasn’t ate it

He might be used to Betta flakes.
Id try frozen beef heart and frozen mysis shrimp! I use those two and flakes, my one boy is less interested in flakes rather then the frozen foods, one of my girls is a fatty and eats everything lol. With the frozen foods let them fully defrost and not be hard at all! I use tweezers to hold it on the water surface or move it around to have them chase it. Ive also taught them to jump up to get food by holding the food above water level, not by much.
