Hello there

I am looking for a rod

Mostly will be fishing in Skokie Lagoon Damm and Chicago river and maybe Lake Michigan i was recommended below but since its 1 piece it would be hard to transport .. any suggestions?

Fishes i would be catching is mostly bluegill, catfish, bass etc.. nothing too fancy or big

The Lew's TP2 Spinning Combo would be a great combo. https://www.basspro.com/p/lews-tp2-spinning-combo?SID=394

That combo is perfectly fine, though there are plenty of good options.

For all-around freshwater fishing, my go-to beginner recommendation is an Ugly Stik GX2 or Elite, with any Shimano or Daiwa reel (the Ugly Stik combo reel is crap). Depending on your budget, Shimano Sienna/Daiwa Revros/Regal/Legalis is a solid progression quality-wise. Reels are rated for line capacity, rods for line strength and lure weight. You’d probably want about 8-10 lb mono line, so pick specific models accordingly.
