I purchased these two rods at auction. Both are 7 1/2 feet long. One is a 4 oz model and the other is 3 3/4 oz model. Both are 7513 model numbers and Spencer’s. Does anyone have knowledge of the maker who may know if the reel seats are original? They are different on each rod. Also I question if the 4oz tube and cloth are original. From what little I have gathered from searches online I believe the 3 3/4 oz is all original. I plan to fish these so no big deal if one has been modified. The 4 oz casts a 5wt line very well and I am very happy with it. The 3 3/4 is overloaded on both a 5 dt and wf. So I need to finally purchase a 4wt line and reel it seems. One of the few weights I have never owned. The rod sections themselves are carbon copies of one another and almost perfect except one tip has a slight set.
