I’ve never seen a betta that looks like my boy. He’s turning more orange everyday. He also has a lot of pink undertones. The pictures just do not do him justice either. My sister says his fins look like a cupcake wrapper so I think his name is cupcake now 😭❤️

I have no idea but what I do know is that that fish is gorgeous !!
Not necessarily rare, but definitely harder to breed! Yellow is at the bottom of the scale layers so it takes a ton of generations of selective breedings remove the other colors.
