Ok so I’ve had this guy for I think around 4 months this is his third tank he’s had and also the biggest I feed him blood worms in the morning and then give him bio-gold at night, and I don’t know if he’s actually healthy. He swims around a lot at night, and if there is any tips for the tank please tell me. Also I know the tank is dirty and am going to clean it again soon, it was cleaned this weekend already but got dirty again. When I first got him and put him in the tank the morning after he was almost dead literally upside down and I feel really bad about it so I’ve been trying really hard to keep him healthy and happy.

This forum has a lot of existing posts that I think you’ll find helpful! You probably need to cycle your tank, so look up the “nitrogen cycle” and specifically a **fish-in nitrogen cycle** on google and that will tell you everything you need to start with.
Your water is also cloudy which usually signals an algae bloom. Easy fix (decrease feeding, limit light exposure, increase plants)!
A better pic of his fins would be awesome. They look like he might have some fin rot or nips, which wouldn’t be surprising given his history which sounds a bit stressful (swapping tanks, near death sickness, etc)
Not the most experienced but I think bloodworms is more of a treat my betta loves the fluval bug bites flakes and pellets
His first tank was around I think three gallons and I think this is around 6? Idk if that’s correct sorry
He’s probably stressed from being moved to different tanks too often. Bettas are super sensitive to change in their environment
