This is my betta's aquarium. I'd like some ideas for a bed for him. I was thinking of something natural, not one of those 3D printed beds from AliExpress.

I use anubias stuck to the glass with a suction cup or pothos/monstera roots at the back of the tank. My betta is young and speedy so I only sometimes see her nestled in the plants, but Iโve had older or long finned bettas that loved them.

Hornwort. I ordered a bunch off of eBay and itโs a big floating clump that my betta lovessss. Also side note: how did you get that bamboo so tall??

I have a big anubias hastifolia, the leaves are really wide and would make a great bed (if my beta ever decides to use it)
FYI, this isnt what you asked, but you should take the cory and tetras back to the store. This is not a humane setup. Both of these animals need to be in schools of at least 6 and need a min of 20g. Bettas are not recommended to have any fish tank mates at a size under 20g, and tetras are not recommended tankmates for bettas. Im sure you didn’t mean to, but this setup is really cruel for them.

I’m no expert, but I’ve heard to avoid bamboo in tanks, since they aren’t actually water plants and can start to rot, affecting the water quality.

Is that a corydora in there?
I’ve used pothos roots to make a little hammock with suction cups. Anubias is a great option too.

Honestly I have tall plants and he lounges on the leaves. It’s his favorite spot

You should not have the Cory and tetra.ย
