Weight should be pegged if flipping through heavy vegetation. As for the lure itself, it’s hard to say if that is kinked or just bent sideways due to how your holding the lure.
Regardless you really want it texposed while keeping it as straight as possible.

Straighten out that bait on the hook for better action, have the body hide the back of the hook even if the point is sticking out

Looks good to me. I’ve had luck with a similar setup. I like to throw a trailer or skirt on there.

If you’re going through heavy grass. I’d probably get a heavier weight and peg it. The plastic looks like it needs to be straightened. I’d texpose it

I love throwing t-rigged plastics through the veggies. I concur that pegging the weight could help you maneuver through it. I use a bobber stop, and that way I can either peg the weight, or give it a bunch of sliding distance.

Not sure where you are fishing, I’m Florida guy so I’m used to fishing lily pads, hydrilla, tape grass, sawgrass, torpedo grass. Depth and thickness of what your fishing is key. The bullet weight is designed not only to penetrate the vegatative growth but also presentation to have that soft plastics “standing up” with natural movement. The guys down here on tour are running 80# braid outfits when fishing Okeechobee or other heavy vegetive lakes. To put this in perspective, I run 80# braid outfits when I’m grouper fishing offshore
