My sweet boy, Cosmo, developed dropsy
about a week and a half ago and despite my best efforts with medication, epsom salt baths, and water changes, he just kept declining. I decided to euthanize him tonight because he’s clearly distressed and has little quality of life. I’m absolutely gutted. Rip little guy. I never knew I could love a fish so much.

Hang in there. I’m sure there are more fish out there that would love to have you as an owner. Sounds like you did the best anyone could do. It’s hard to say goodbye to a member of your family.
