Started bass fishing last year on a 7’ medium fast spinning rod and this year I want to get into bait casters. Currently looking at getting the 734c with a curado dc 150 and 735c with a curado 150M. How do these rods still holding up compared to newer rod lines at similar price point like St.Croix Legend Tournament and Shimano Expride line? I’ve only found reviews from 3-5 years ago on the Dobyns line. Everything I’ve researched says that both rods are great and super versatile but compared to newer rod lines are they still good? I’ve also seen some people say Dobyns warranty isn’t good anymore is this true?
Also considering Diawa’s Tatula Elite rod line if I can’t get more up to date information on the Dobyns champion xp line.
