200L Walstad update

This is my 200L that I had initially set up to be a Walstad tank but since my plan was to have a large tank without large canister filter and minimal maintenance I decided to assist my Walstad with a small airstone wrapped in sponge to oxygenate the water and some water flow.

I know for a fact the bubbler would not sustain this tank if I didn’t follows Walstads principles so I thought I’d just share this.

The only issue I run into is leaving my light on for too long as I stare at my tank way too long so I do have a bit of diatom algae build up on some plants

Open to hearing what the fish police have to say, a disclaimer I must make though is that this has been working for me sustainably for the last 3 months so, it’s kind of one of those situations where you have see for yourself by doing it

If anyone wants the plant list just comment 🙂
