I went to buy more of these rocks from the aquarium shop and they alerted me that it can raise the pH to a level that may be harmful to my Tetras. It's been a couple of weeks and they seemed fine (apart from pre-existing damage from a run in with barbs in the previous tank which I removed) however upon testing the level does seem high. Today I noticed some whiter patches on one of my Neons, is this caused by the pH level? What's the best way to fix the pH without removing the rocks? I really like the layout I have now

Its neon tetra disease, *Pleistophora hyphessobryconis*. Unfortunately no know cure as of now. In my experience rasboras and bottom feeders do not get infected, while ricefish and other tetras can. Also it could be that the swing in params weakened their immune system and thats why they got infected.
