Tomorrow is opening day of trout season here in Pennsylvania. I have not been trout fishing in about 10 years, but I got a new Shakespeare micro combo to play with. My father-in-law is an avid fisherman and gave me most of the tackle in the picture. What are you grabbing for your first cast and why?

Bucks county PA. Neshaminy creek.
white grub
Probably that silver spoon.
Kastmaster or that No2 Panther Martin lookin thing up top left. Both are solid options for small to midsize trout, but everything else also will hit them.
Trout magnets then the spinners.
It’s a creek, start with some finesse and move to dinner bell.
I used to ride my mtn bike behind the high school, never thought of going back and fishing it.
I’d start with one of the rooster tails (color depends on condition) then the silver spoon and then that white grub.
those inline spinner
Spinners all day personally. Always catch on them with trout.
