Kafka was such a calm Betta. His favorite things to do were sleeping in his favorite spots, showing off whenever I came close, and 'supervising' me while I cleaned his tank. About 15 days ago, his calm behavior changed, and he became completely still. He was still eating and would occasionally come to see me when I approached, but he fought for those 15 days.
Yesterday morning, I woke up and found him gone. I feel like I’ve lost my roommate and a close friend. It hurts so much to look at the aquarium and not see him there. He was my first fish, and I truly hope he had a happy life with me.
