I literally can never be to sure these days. I’m hoping I just accidentally overfed her a bit since she’s been stealing food from the corydoras. I know her one fin isn’t looking too good but that’s because for whatever reason she likes wiggling herself into places she shouldn’t be, like between the sponge filter and the wall.

Did you get her as a baby? It could be that her scales are just getting thicker as she ages and that’s why you feel that her scales look like they’re more lifted than what you’re used to. Baby bettas always have thinner and flatter scales in my experience, as they become adults the scales become more 3 dimensional, especially if they’re darker coloured like this. She looks fine to me. I’m not an expert, but I’ve raised 2 bettas from a couple months old and they both got thicker scales as they grew up.

If you want to be more sure, post a picture from directly above, but all of these look fine to me.
