i never understand these. why not put one kayak fully on the roof, and the other in the bed with the gate down/with another extender if you so wish? this just looks aahhhhhh goofy

Whatever works for you! I had some strange finagling that I used to do as well. But ended up just getting a trailer and now can carry 1 to 6 (1 native titan and the rest cheap play around yaks for kids/SO).
