Just posting my new boy got a week and 2 days ago. My first Betta and first fish in general. I am an animal person and have had many different types of animals in my day but this is the first of the wet variety.
I am quite fond of this little dude! SO incredibly bold with such a personality and a grumpy face. He is going through a mild case of bloat at the moment and I'm quite worried even though it looks very minor. I think I overfed him so I am fasting him for a few days and seeing what happens. I do have frozen Daphnia on hand so wish me luck.
I don't have a bloat question, he's just on my mind because I'm worrying, so I wanted to introduce him to everyone 🙂

So so cute ! If you’re trying to fast him, make sure not to give him super proteinous food like frozen shrimps etc. I’m sure maybe that’ll help out !
Also, you need to fast them once a week so they can improve digestion
