Now im aware there isnt a straight answer wether it will break or not, but i just got this rod and its sad to see a scratch thats decently deep like that.
This is a high end rod, so definitely high modulus.
I also noticed the walls are decently thin which makes me a little sceptical.

Can we guarantee anything? No. But I would fish that with piece of mind. There arent shards sticking out so its just the surface covering. Probably got scratched by a hook or sinker
Garbage
Literally unusable.
Throw it away, it will break at first cast either way.
Rods without scratches sometimes break.
