First attempt at tying a FC leader to braid…. used the Alberto knot. how does it look?
also how do I remove the twist in the braid main line I used a mepps without a swivel and my line is pretty twisted even though its braid.

It looks skinny to my eyes. I’m a fan of the uni knot. The real tell is how well it flies through the eyes on the rod.

The knot looks great. A drop of super glue will secure the tags. I like to put a drop in the middle of the knot, then roll it between my fingers a couple of times.

No lure, stretch out the line across your yard or a park area. As much as you can. Then, with tension on the line as you reel in, reel it up. I do this multiple times a year across my yard bc of twist.
Other option, in a boat, let out all the line behind the boat without a lure.
